Privacy Policy

The short version

Free2Meet is designed to work with as little data as possible. We don't require an account to respond, and we don't sell your personal information.

What we collect

• Your name — only when you enter it to mark your availability. This is stored with your response against the event you're responding to.
• Availability selections — the time slots or dates you mark as free.
• Basic usage data — anonymous page views and product analytics in production only (see Analytics below).

We do not collect: email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, payment information, or location data.

Optional calendar import

If you choose Import from calendar on the availability grid, we read busy times for this poll's dates only. This is optional — you can always mark times manually.

• We show meetings as dotted hints on the grid; you still select your own free slots.
• OAuth connections store encrypted tokens in your browser session, plus optional email and display name from the provider.
• Event titles appear only to you as hints until you press Save — they are not stored in the poll response.
• ICS calendar links are treated as secrets and are not logged.
• Tokens are removed when you disconnect or your session ends.

How we use it

• To display group availability within the event you participated in.
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
• To serve personalized and non-personalized advertisements (via Google AdSense).

Aside from advertising networks serving ads, we never use your personal event data for any purpose beyond the scheduling event you created or joined.

Data retention

Event data is automatically deleted 60 days after the event's last activity. You can request earlier deletion by emailing us.

Analytics & Advertising

We use the following third-party services to understand usage and serve advertisements to help fund the site:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics — Anonymous page-view metrics. Designed to work without cookies. Privacy information: https://developers.cloudflare.com/web-analytics/
• Microsoft Clarity — Session recordings and heatmaps to improve usability. May use cookies. Privacy information: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement
• Google AdSense & Analytics — Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting https://www.google.com/settings/ads

Third parties

We do not sell your data. Service providers may process data on our behalf: cloud hosting, analytics (Cloudflare, Microsoft Clarity), and — only when you connect a calendar — Google Calendar API or Microsoft Graph. Each provider is bound by its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data associated with your name by contacting us at [email protected]. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of Free2Meet after changes means you accept the updated policy.
